Destination Weddings, Lake Michigan: Leslie & Scott

While it was a Labor Day weekend for most, Jonathan was on the job! He traveled to Northern Michigan to photograph Leslie and Scott's lakeside wedding weekend. After arriving to rain and temps in the 50's, it cleared up nice and warm for Sunday's big event at Camp Leelenau. Here are a few of our favorites... hope you guys are enjoying Croatia!


The day of the wedding was absolutely gorgeous...


as was the dress...


and not a hair out of place...

a meaningful gift from Scott's sister...


Northern Michigan is a thing of beauty...


an emotional ceremony...


with tears AND laughter...


a newly married walk...


and a dip by the lake...


the self-designed rings...






then the paparazzi came out to play...






and they danced into the night!

    Dear Leslie and Scott:
    We were so pleased to be a part of not only your wedding but to be welcomed so by Leslie's family. The boys are just a joy to watch with both of you. Marilyn-thanks you so much. Your hospitality and graciousness were top notch. Wish our time together hadn't been so brief. We will think of you in Vienna in another week or so. Laura, Leslie's sister was wonderfully welcoming with her consideration and thoughtfulness (blanket on boat was a warming touch!)..and Leslie's brother was fun to talk with. What a super family!
    Leslie: all our friends commented on what a terrific dress you wore.
