La Rouge Boudoir - Amy

While most of us were just gearing up for Christmas, some had already begun thinking about Valentine's Day! Here is Amy. She was Mrs. North Carolina a few years back, which is no surprise considering how much the camera loves her... enjoy some of the faves from the shoot. La Rouge Boudoir - Hilarie

Hilarie has been a McCardell Photography sweetheart for over a year now. Every few months, we get the pleasure of photographing her. First it was engagement pictures, then the wedding, and now boudoir. She is a dream to photograph, and I have a feeling her new hubby will be very pleased with the latest set of sassy shots... it was a Merry Christmas indeed!

Merry Christmas from the McCardells!

2010 has been a remarkable year of health and happiness for the McCardells. We are so grateful for all our blessings and wish the same to you and your families this Christmas! Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night... and we hope you get everything you want underneath your tree, too!

La Rouge Boudoir - Natalie

Sometimes women just want to feel pampered. Natalie treated herself to a full-throttle boudoir/fashion photo shoot at the Proximity Hotel last month. There wasn't really an occasion, and she didn't need one! She brought a whole suitcase full of fashion options and we pretty much played dress up for nearly 3 hours. Here are some of the highlights from her session - she is a total rock star! For more information about booking your own boudoir shoot,  click here.

Greensboro wedding photography - Brooke and Jake

Ahh... the last wedding (35 this year!) of the season... bittersweet, really. While we love love love photographing weddings, we also like our time to recharge our batteries over the winter. But what a way to finish! Brooke and Jake tied the knot in Jamestown and partied it up at the Empire Room in downtown Greensboro. Lots of NC State references here (note the abundance of bright red), as Jake was a pitcher for the Wolfpack. The whole crew was glued to their smart phones, and all were happy the 'Pack pulled out a football victory about a hour before the ceremony. But the real celebration was for the happy couple, as you can see from some of our favorite images from the day. As for us, we will keep on posting our other sessions, and we look forward to the first wedding of 2011 in March!

Brooke wore her Wolfpack pride as well as a beautiful band...

Brooke and Jake let us join them for their first look...

although we don't think they noticed us too much...

then the rest of the crowd joined in...

beautiful work as always from Maxie B's

and Randy "Bad Boy" Smith kept the dance floor full all night...

and this little one came to party....

and then shares an end-of-the-night laugh with dad...

gotta love the baseball touches...

A Tanglewood wedding: Miriam and Jarrett

Clear blue skies? Check. Perfect temperature? Check. Gorgeous leaves in Tanglewood Park? You betcha. Add the two lovebirds, Miriam & Jarrette, and you have the recipe for a perfect wedding. These two are so well-matched, it is no wonder that they got married. Miriam was not feeling well and Jarrette was the perfect knight-in-shining-armor to help things along. We were honored to witness their wedding, and look forward to posting their day-after session in a few days. You would never know that Miriam had the flu - check out that genuine smile! She was a trooper!

The Manor house at Tanglewood never looked better...
