The word for the day is gorgeous. Gorgeous bride and groom, gorgeous weather, gorgeous details. We had the pleasure of photographing Elizabeth and Matt's wedding on Saturday. The ceremony was at Davis Memorial chapel in Winston-Salem, and the reception was at the always spectacular
Childress Vineyards. Tanya from
Occasions of the Hart rocked it out with the florals and decorations while keeping everything running smoothly, and everybody had a great time! Here are a few of our favorites... not sure how we are going to narrow it down for the album!

ReplyDeleteThis was the most beautiful wedding I've ever been to as well as the most beautiful pics I've ever seen. I'm not just saying this because Liz is my cousin & the flower girl is my daughter. You captured Liz's amazing beauty and Kassidy's sweet innocence and beauty. The pic of Kassidy brought tears to my eyes and I can't wait to see more. All of these are just stunning!

As the mother of the bride, Saturday was the day I had always dreamed of for Elizabeth. And I know that she felt the same. She sat down beside her dad and me at the reception and tears were streaming as she said that this was all she had ever hoped for - and more. She wanted a celebration of her marriage, she wanted to make sure everyone had an amazing time with good food, good music and fond memories. And with the terrific work that you guys have done, those memories can always be close by. She knew the moment she met you both, that you were the ones she wanted to do the photography. The bridal portraid session with you was awesome too. Can't wait to see all the photos. Hey, Jon, I made sure Elizabeth has that torpedo cork for her memories box. What a laugh!! Loved you guys!
ReplyDeleteWhat can I say? I couldn't have asked for more...the perfect day, perfect family and friends, and perfect photographers. I don't think that there could be pictures that reflect our day anymore perfect than what you have given us. You captured candid moments between Matt and I and our guests. I can't expess to you guys what it meant to have both of you there to photograph and party with us. Everyone felt completely comfortable with the two of you. I could go on for days about your work, but to sum it up-- you are special people that are wonderful at your work. We are so blessed to have had the two of you with us on our wedding day. Thank you for capturing our day so that we can re-live it years from now.
