New lens and dogs

So I just got my new toy... um, lens via UPS today. It is a 70-200mm, 2.8 VR. If you're not a photographer, I'm sorry, but you can't relate to the excitement when you open up that package. It's like Christmas! I am real excited to put this to the test tomorrow at Jennifer and Jeremy's wedding. Look for post from that early next week. How sharp is this!


Outside with a long lens is one thing, but how does it do in low light? Here is a shot from about 35-40 feet; 200iso, 2.8, 1/40 sec. The VR really makes an incredible difference...
