Do you ever have one of those days where everything goes right? Well this past Saturday was one of those days for Jonathan and Becki as they joined Brittni and Deviré for their wedding day. While the forecast called for rain, only fluffy clouds gave us shade... the bride and groom are about as nice as they are tall (Deviré is 6'5") and they left plenty of time for us to get some great shots (we love that!) NC engagement photography - Beth and Chris

We took a trek out towards Statesville, NC the other day to meet up with Beth and Chris at the family land. Now, when we say family, we mean it has been in Chris' family since back around the Civil War! Talk about putting sown some roots! It was really a great spot with a lake and an old mill and several old cabins... take a look at some of our favs!

New Bern wedding photography - Cynthia and Victor

When you get a call to photograph a wedding, that's one thing. But add to it that the bride and groom are photographers, that's another. On top of that, Cynthia is a fabulous wedding photographer! So while it is so flattering to be asked to capture the big day of one of your peers, talk about pressure! But Jonathan was up to the task, and traveled to the New Bern area for Cynthia and Victor's nuptials. About 3 hours before the ceremony, it looked like he was going to need an ark! But the skies cleared just in time to make it an absolutely picture-perfect day. Here are a few favorites from the day... be sure to leave a note for the bride and groom!

Old Salem wedding - Emily and Jeff
