Amy and Godfrey, the wedding

A few weeks ago, we blogged Amy and Godfrey's engagement session, and on Saturday, they tied the knot. It was a beautiful day... just a little cool, with bright skies. Everything went great... we had a super time! thanks guys, hope you are enjoying Mexico!

Kristi and Keith

Kristi and Keith live in Baltimore, but we took advantage of their visit to NC to get some shots of them and their dogs before they get married this June. They brought the whole family along as dog sitters, so we were able to get some alone time too!

Charlotte and Will

Charlotte and Will are getting married in Salisbury, but they made the hike up to our favorite park in Greensboro. There was the perfect amount of cloud cover to give us nice soft shadows, and when it started to get dark, they were up for some lighting experimentation. See you at the wedding!

We are so pleased to have our photography featured on two Triad-area bridal magazines at the same time! We mentioned the cover of TriadWeddings earlier, and the latest issue of Triad Bride and Groom Planner just arrived on our doorstep. It looks great, and if you would like a copy, just let us know!

Amy and Godfrey

Continuing cold temperatures and even some rain couldn't keep us from getting some shots of Amy and Godfrey on Tuesday. They opted for a downtown session as well, so always a chance to get some interesting backgrounds and textures. Hopefully we'll have some better weather next month at the wedding... looking forward to it!

Ivey Lee's bridal session

We braved the elements yesterday for Ivey Lee's bridal portrait in downtown Greensboro. We were able to step into the Biltmore Hotel's cool lobby for a few shots that warmed us up at about the halfway mark in our session. Thanks Ivey Lee... you're a trooper!

Apple

As photographers, of course we are a bit geeky when it comes to our computer stuff... and Apple just came out with a few updates. Steve Jobs had a 90-minute presentation of the upgrades and new products, but who has time for all that? Here is a 60 second version that is a lot easier to deal with:

TriadWeddings cover

Crystal's birthday party

Jonathan took a late night trip downtown to the N Club on Saturday night to photograph Crystal's 21st birhtday party.

Welcome Jacquelyn Renee

We were honored to be invited to welcome Jacquelyn Renee into the world at about 5am this morning... The proud parents Lisa and Seth were wedding clients just over 2 years ago, and have become great friends. So good, that we were even more honored that they gave their new daughter Renee's name!
We are so happy for you guys... can't wait to babysit!

Alison and Matt

We had the opportunity to photograph the wedding of Alison and Matt on Saturday... after a week of unseasonably warm temperatures, it turned out to be pretty cold and rainy. Being December, everything was inside at the Regency Room, but we dodged a few raindrops and got some great shots on Elm Street after the ceremony.

Matt's grandmother hand made these ornaments... it's a translucent copy of their invitation, inside a glass ball - we were impressed!

Lindsay and Jason

Jonathan walked a bit around downtown Greensboro with Lindsay and Jason, who are getting married this June in Hickory. It was a bit chilly, but the walking kept us warm... plus running from the locomotive really got the heart rate up!

It started out innocently enough...

then on the steps of the old police HQ...

on to the tracks...

and here comes the train!

but we made it out alive...
