Another Saturday, another wedding, ANOTHER downpour! But just like the week before, the skies cleared just in time, and gave Jonathan and Jordan some great weather for Beth and Jason's big day in Old Salem. The ceremony was held in the very cool and classic St. Phillips church, and the party continued across the bridge at the Old Salem Visitor's Center. Check out some of our favorites for the day, and leave some love for the happy couple!
beautiful gown from Dawn's Bridal...
stunning florals from Imagine...
Beth got lots of support from the friends and fam...
on the way to see her groom...
we love capturing first looks...
traffic always stops for a bridal party...
love a ceremony that's all smiles...
the guys...
who's ready to party?
but a tender first dance to start things off...
just a little extra sweetness on the tip of the nose...
get down girl!
and a sparkly walk...
led them to a fairytale exit... hope you are enjoying your honeymoon!

A Proximity wedding - Johanna and Grant
Renee was flying solo this past weekend with Johanna and Grant and their fabulous rainy day nuptials. Actually, the rain cleared up just in time to go for a walk through Greensboro's Bicentennial Gardens. And with the freshly watered plantings, the colors just popped! Of course the Proximity Hotel was again top notch. On a side note, Johanna is from Sweden (and Grant works for Volvo), and our previous Proximity wedding featured a large Danish contingency... we are photographing Scandinavia, slowly but surely! Enjoy some of our favorites from the day!
Reception: Proximity
Florals: Randy McManus
Cake: Maxie B's
DJ: Triad DJ service
The day started out a bit drizzly...
but everything inside was beautiful...
then some drama at the gardens...
Love love love this one...
these guys rocked out the photo shoot!
the lovely Johanna...
a message to the bride...
a moving toast from Grant's brother...
and some instructions to Johanna on the only towel she'll need...
Johanna stole a look at her dad during the first dance...
thanks guys, enjoy Hawaii!

Greensboro wedding photography - Maggie and Lee
Renee and Wade had the pleasure of joining Maggie and Lee at their wedding last week. The ceremony was held at the brand-spankin-new St Pius X near down town Greensboro. The designers of the church must of had photographers on their mind when they put it together, because as you can see, the images are stunning! We had plenty of time until the reception, so we took advantage and did some walking around downtown and on to The Empire Room reception. Leave some well wishes for the happy couple!
Lee gets some words of wisdom from Maggie's dad...
Always good to have a little something to do during the wait...
Maggie gets a helping hand from the girls...
on the way to get hitched...
told you it was gorgeous inside...
but sometimes flowers are too much of a draw...
a walk downtown...
Maggie's baby blues...
sometimes facebook just isn't personal enough to spread the news...
let's party!
a sweet first dance...
and a touching toast from Maggie's sister...
a Painted Plate perfection...
that was a smash hit...
some of the best ice cream around is from Graeter's (they flew it in from Cincinnati!)
a little "Macarena" never hurt anyone...
and they sang and danced into the night!
