Kristin and John
We drove up to South Jersey to photograph Kris and John's fabulous wedding last weekend. It had to be one of the most energetic groups we've worked with! These guys know how to party, and it didn't let up until about 3am! We also arrived in time for the pool party the day before...
They had custom shirts printed for everyone in the wedding party...
Gifts for the guys...
A truly gorgeous wedding day...
The beautiful bride...
The good looking groom...
John flubbed his lines a little, which got a laugh...
We love detail shots like this...
The guys had a message for John (one woman 4 the rest of your life!!)...
Always good to see other Red Sox fans!
Fully stocked!
The beautiful cake and flowers...
Here's looking at you...
The last dance of the night...

Julia and Mickey
We went down to Childress Vineyards yesterday for an engagement session with Julia and Mickey, who are getting married this October. It was pretty hot, so we all had to step inside every once and a while to get recharged! Julia is a wedding planner with Tie The Knot Weddings... she is so fun and has lots of great ideas. And we are so honored when a wedding coordinator chooses us to shoot their own wedding! And we are looking forward to coming back in mid-October, when it's just a little bit cooler! Here are a few of our favorites from yesterday's shoot.

Whitney and Mike, part 2
Whitney and Mike tied the knot on Saturday at the gorgeous Pine Lake Pavillion in Mebane, NC. Talk about perfect weather. Slightly overcast (which is the best for photos, by the way), and not too hot. The ceremony was performed just steps from the water, and everything went smooth as silk. We had a blast photographing them and their crew, and we are looking forward to putting together the album!
You can see their engagement session here, and you can see Whitney's bridal session here.

It is pretty much universally accepted: Whitney's cute!
Mike's no slouch himself...
This was a laid back group - the men's footwear...
Whitney's beautiful gown...
The skies were like a slice of heaven...
Whitney's mom walked her down the aisle...
This is one reason Carolina living is so awesome....
Whitney and Mike are so comfortable with each other, even at the altar...
The happy husband and wife...
ELEVEN bridesmaids and groomsmen; count 'em... ELEVEN!
First dance...
Cake by Ganache...
Will they play nice?
No...
But they made up real quick...
The money dance netted them over $600 for the honeymoon!
And off they went!

Kristine and Antonio
7 bridesmaids... 7 groomsmen... all on 7-7-07. It all adds up for Kristine and Antonio. We had a great time photographing them all yesterday. Gongrats guys!
Antonio tape recorded a message for Kristine just before the wedding...
Antonio as he sees Kristine coming down the aisle...
We stopped by Bicentennial Gardens for a photo op...
His toast to her at the reception barely left a dry eye in the house...
The beautiful cupcake cake by Maxie B's (Red Velvet— our favorite!)
And the dancing went on all night!

Happy Independence Day!
I just want to take a minute and say how proud and grateful I am to be an American. I've been all around the world, and there's no other place I'd rather be! And here's a shout out to all our servicemen and women from all generations... thanks!
Here's a shot that my dad set up a few months ago... he said "humor me..." but this shot about sums up Americana, doesn't it? I guess maybe a baseball in there would have made it complete. Anyway, enjoy the picnics, swimming and fireworks!

In the news
I was just informed that our clients Kristine and Antonio are being interviewd by WFMY channel 2 news at 6pm today. The channel is doing a story on people getting married on 7-7-07. So if you read this blog in the next hour and a half (and you live in the Triad!), check it out! Here's a shot from our engagement session we did last fall:

Nicole and Eric
We had the pleasure of photographing Nicole and Eric's big day yesterday... their ceremony was at Lawdale Baptist, and the reception was at the O.Henry Hotel. There was a ilttle bit of rain for a while, but that gave us some great lighting for some outside shots between raindrops. Congratulations!
Nicole has a classic beauty and elegance...
The dashing groom...
Nicole's shoes on Eric's foosball table... a metaphor?
Just about ready...
We love Lawndale Baptist's interior...
Our competition... ;-)
Off to the O.Henry Hotel...
Nic and the girls...
Eric and the guys...
Beautiful work as always by Maxie B's...
A blast from the past...
They did!
And the party went well into the night...
