Proximity Hotel Bridal Session: Nikki

You may recognize Nikki from her New Year's Eve wedding we blogged in January, but we are so happy to finally be blogging her bridal session! Nikki is stunning - and now that we're officially launching the 2012 wedding season, we are all fired up and ready to go! Seriously people, we have 9 weddings in May alone. Love is in the air, so take a peek at Nikki's awesome session. The Proximity Hotel is definitely a favorite spot of ours, and this girl rocked it out!

Durham Engagement session: Julie & Chris

Jonathan met up with Julie and Chris for their engagement shoot in Durham. It was a great day for a shoot, and with some kissin' and huggin' by the lovebirds, it was darn near perfect! First stop was the American Tobacco Historic campus, and then UNC's Old Well. Chris initiated a little rivalry by donning a Wolfpack red shirt, but Julie was unfazed. Can't wait to photograph the wedding, guys!

Greensboro engagement session: Sarah & Travis

Most engagement sessions begin similarly. Couples feel a little anxious and there is a a brief warm up period where we all have to take a deep breath and establish a rapport with each other. I mean, when else do you get dressed up and directed by a photographer in a public place while kissing and acting as if no one is watching? No pressure, right? Well Sarah and Travis took about 2 minutes to get in the zone. They were so comfortable with each other, it made the session super natural and thoroughly enjoyable. The time seemed to just fly by and before we knew it we were all giggling and laughing and blowing dandelions like kids. Thanks, guys, for a great time. We are looking forward to the wedding this Fall!

We trekked through downtown Greensboro with Colleen and Eric for a fun afternoon of photo snappin' for their engagement session! They are so sweet together - it's days like these that remind us why we started a photography business in the first place! Proximity Hotel Engagement Session: Nitasha & Otis

Nitasha and Otis are totally cool. I mean, just look at them. We intended to shoot their engagement session outside, but with 30 mph winds, we opted for the uber cool Proximity Hotel instead.
